People and Books from Italy to France in the Sixteenth Century

The research aims to analyse the circulation of people and texts from Italy to France in the 16th century. The Trento unit will investigate sixteenth-century Italian law books that were printed or circulated in France, focusing on the networks of authors, printers, agents and readers. We will try to understand how the activities of these agents contributed to the circulation of ideas and the production of normative knowledge.
